SEA, RIVER AND MOUNTAINS.

Over its 110 square kilometres, Vigo offers nature lovers the most varied of countryside: mountains and wooded parks, rivers and reservoirs, the sea of the ria, islands and dozens of beaches and coves. Wooded forests such as: Coruxo, Beade, San Andrés de Comesaña, Zamáns, Bembrive, Bandeira, Saiáns, Alba-Cepudo, Madroa, dos Pozos, Vixiador,... enable you to get away from the bustle of the city and enjoy nature just minutes from the centre of the metropolis.

Path of the River Lagares
If you don't want to go far from the city, you can walk along the river Lagares. If you follow it you will come to two medieval bridges, and see a multitude of aquatic birds that use the river to nest, and a wide variety of autochthonous vegetation. The river passes through the Castrelos Park and the surroundings of the Balaídos stadium, from where it flows to its outlet at the Samil beach
