MORE THAN 40 BEACHES AND COVES

Vigo boasts more than 40 sandy areas, between its beaches and coves, with gently flowing waters and fine sand.

The most popular and well-known is Samil beach . It has swimming pools for children, slides, picnic areas, walkways, recreation areas, radio-controlled car circuit, a skating rink and sports tracks. And all kinds of services: Red Cross, restaurants, deckchairs... probably one of the best equipped city beaches in Europe .

From Samil, we can go to O Vao , the second largest Vigo beach, where you can see the blue flag flying and part of the natural dune system still survives.

Opposite Vigo is the Cíes natural park. Since it is a natural park and unpopulated, there are some heavenly beaches to be found, some of which are very small and well hidden.
